Despite its title, this book is really a concise history of the world economy during the twentieth century, with a focus on the United States but interesting excursions on Europe and, especially, Japan. Drawn largely from secondary sources and written by an English author, the book offers an outsider's view of America and its role in the world economy. It is fair-minded . The power to read at an inhumanly fast level. Technique of Literary Manipulation. The user can read at unrealistic speeds while still retaining all of the information read. They have intuitive knowledge on how to pronounce any word in a language that they know.

Notice, again, that the insanely overdeveloped superpower is nerfed by the main character's mental deficiencies. Some people: Just because they're God they walk around thinking they're better than everyone else. Invulnerability. Example: The Sentry. When Robert Reynolds became the Sentry, the character's powers soared out of control.   Says the author: “if you want PR, sell the media the trash news that helps them sell”. Power Nugget: Numbers, as much as science, can be manipulated to support almost any argument you want to make. And it carries a big manipulative punch for being “data-driven” and “scientific” (you know as they say Numbers don’t lie).

#1. Talent. Your talent is an ability that you possess a natural and extraordinary aptitude for. Unlike a skill which is learned, a natural-born talent just comes easily to you. It makes sense to you, you learn it quickly and you excel at it without much help. For a book to qualify as romance-the-genre, there are only two conditions: A romantic relationship must be central to the plot somehow, if you take it out the story would not work.

It must feature a HEA (happily ever after) or HFN (happy for now) ending. 1 These two are non-negotiable, same as fantasy requiring to have either some supernatural element, whether .
